About Jim Rodgers

Jim Rodgers was born in northern New Jersey and now lives in bucolic Lancaster, PA.  He studied at the Art Students League, NYC majoring in landscape painting.  Rodgers paints a wide range of subject matter from lush American and European Landscapes to intimate genre paintings. Rodgers intention is to capture a glimpse of his experiences traveling the US and Europe.  He evokes an emotional response from the viewer through his poetic portrayal of nature.

A member of NYC's Salmagundi Club, Delaware Art Museum as well as Morris County Art Association and Duchess County Art Association, Millbrook, NY
